Two perfect strangers meet in a busy London Station.Rikki Thakral (Abhishek Bachhan) born in Bhatinda, living in London meet with Alvira Khan (Preity Zinta) having Lahori blood in her veins in a busy London station.
As they have to wait for two hours so both share a table in a crowded cafe in order to kill 2 hrs.Both of them are waiting for their respective fiances who are coming by the same train.In order to kill time they decide to narrate to each other how they met their respective fiances.
Rikki met his fiance Anaida(Lara Dutta) at the Ritz (paris) the same night Princess Diana and Dodi walked out of the hotel and in to the paparazzi.And then both of them fell in love.
Alvira a princess by nature discovered her Mr Right at madame Tussaud's.A gigantic wax model of superman was about to fall her when she was saved by Steve and they fell in love.Alvira's fiance Steve (Bobby Deol) is a lawyer by profession.
As time passes and story unfolds the two strangers- Alvira and Rikki start enjoying each others company.They start getting attracted towards each other in spite of having numerous differences.Their brief encounter was about to create an emotional chaos.
What will Rikki and Alvira do now?
