Johnny Gaddaar

Guys, I can't even explain how excited after watching this movie, I became. I went with a sarcastic mood as tickets were proffered me complimentary and that too single and lonely most in the whole hall. But hats off and thanks to the director Sriram Raghvan for taking me through a roller coaster ride. The movie lurks around five gang members and one of them's love story(I won't tell you which one) and a mega deal worth 2.5 crores!!! Everything is going allright when things begin to take twists and one of the gang members takes the other way. from here the whole story is brilliantly crisped and up to the point (not that sort of Abbas-Mustan Thriller where after each sequence a rather unusual song is putted up like that in RACE.) I still can't believe what happens one after one and finally when the whole thing is going to sorted out, probably the GREATEST CLIMAX I have ever seen in my life of encounters with various movies tooks place and leave us in such an adrenaline pumping mood that one wants to enjoy it one more time. All the characters are brilliantly portrayed. Neil is fantastic, Rimi is as good as hell, Dharam Paji--Hats off to you, Zakir Hussain-Above all that guy is, Vinay Pathak-Second Best.

                 The overall story narration is superb and direction is very brilliant. Second plus point is that the editing is very incredibly superb. Each scene seems trying to steal the show with the music in background. Man I can't wait for Next one by Sriram Raghvan. I have started to guess what would be the next climax!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well  Well Well, Can you believe it?  Johnny Gaddaar is a rocker…..

The movie is a suspense thriller movie, but wait can we call it suspense, cause we all know who the culprit (Gaddaar) is, But that’s the beauty of this movie. Even though we all know who the culprit is, the movie still holds you by its sequence of situation it unfolds. This movie definitely makes you sit on the edge of your seat and it always asks you questions to gamble what will happen next.

All the characters are lively and perfectly justified their role. Some of them are brilliant, I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Neil Mukesh, He has done a fantastic job in his debuted movie.

The screenplay is as powerful as the director’s last movie “Ek Haseena thi”. We must give credit to its sound track (both the music and background score), it has a perfect blend of rock and thriller kind of expression. And the Cinematography is spot on.

On the flip side the movie is bit predictable towards the end, so the movie should have been bit shorter to justify its intention.

So its 4 out of 5 for me, It’s a nice thriller movie after along time, you must enjoy watching this movie.

What do expect from the makers of EK HASINA THI ? It proves that indian cinema can also make good thriller movies. It seems to be the copy of hollywood movie PULP FICTION, Starring JOHN TRAVOLTA. BUT A WORTH WATCH MOVIE AND NEIL MUKESH deserves the debut award for this movie

Bollywood has always experimented with different genre of movies in search of a sure hit formula. I guess that's the reason we get to see movies like Aap ka Suroor and Ramu ki Aag.But watching Johny G you just get mesmerized and wonder why haven't such movies been made more often. This has been by far, in recent years a movie in which you would really get your money's worth. The thriller has a really gripping storyline and acting is good although neil can work up a bit more but in general u r glued to ur seat for entire movie thinking wat's next and thats amazing.

A must watch for every movie lover and whos got bored with romantic sequences and 4 friends' slapstick comedies.

i watched manorama last week and that was good... i watched johnny gaddar this week and dude, i conclude that bollywood is going places! :-)... thrillers are back in action and action is back in thrillers :-)...

i liked the movie, its fast paced, story is gripping and causes you to have butterflies in stomach, you wonder whats going to happen next and well i am sure you cant guess :-)... its not a suspense thriller though but the way events happen and story takes turns, it keeps you hooked... music is pretty good,  acting wise neil has scope for improvement, everyone else is pretty fine... enjoy the niche class of bollywood if you have appetite for it...

wow what a movie !! Its a great great thriller. Story is amazing, moves slowly and keeps you engaging and guessing ... Dont want to talk about the story since its a suspense/thriller.. 

Acting wise - it was okay. But acting is not the mainstay of the movie anyway.

Its a must watch !! - you would get that pulp-fiction kind of flavor in it ..
