Story: Advocate R.K.Chaudhary (NTR) honest person who dedicated is life for justice who once prosecutes a murder case which was defended by advocate Kailasam (Rao Gopal Rao) Who is also business partner & chief advisor to Papa Rao (Satyanayana) and Chaudhary makes Kanaka Rao (Satyanarayana) twin brother of Papa Rao to be hanged, from the day Papa Rao develops enmity against Chaudhary. RK Chaudhary has a happy family lives in a palatial house with his wife Janaki (Jayanthi) his son Raja (Sridhar) Police Inspector, daughter in law Lata (Rajyalakshmi), daughter Lakshmi (Mucharlla Aruna) only thing that suffers Chaudhary is his daughter is dumb and does not get marriage due to her disability. After few days RK Chaudhary becomes chief Justice to high court, this hurts Kailasam because he can’t become a Judge and he also develops enmity against Chaudhary. A young & smart looking guy Ramu (NTR) who looks alike Chaudhary is a motor mechanic & a race car driver. Ramu loves Rekha (Sridevi) daughter of Kailasam, but Kailasam doesn’t like it. Ramu enters into life of crime works for Papa Rao because Papa Rao requires a fast car driving driver & Ramu has a life ambition that he wants to construct a house for her mother Radha (Sarada) who went jail for crime he has done. Papa Rao & Kailasam makes plan arranges a guy Gopal (Raja) who is in their trap to marry Chaudhary’s daughter Lakshmi to keep Chaudhary in their grip but Chaudhary doesn’t surrender to them even though Gopal lives Lakshmi. One day when Kailasam goes to met Ramu, there he sees Radha’s photo and understands that Justice Chaudhary is Ramu’s father, he & Papa Rao makes a plan and they tell Ramu against Chaudhary that he had cheated his mother, then Ramu wants take revenge against Chaudhary so he wears getup of Chaudhary and traps Raja in a murder case which was presented in Chaudhary’s court and he gives punishment of life imprisonment. When Chaudhary starts enquiring actually what happened and comes to know Ramu is his own son, Meanwhile Radha comes out from jail and she comes to know what happened through Chaudhary and tells truth to Ramu that she her went away from Chaudhary’s life to make his marriage with Janaki then Ramu realizes his mistake, meanwhile Kailasam is also cheated by Papa Rao & he puts him in his custody. Chaudhary plays a trick & breaks out all the tick tacks of Papa Rao protects everyone including Kailasam but Radha sacrifices her life to project Chaudhary in the climax
