Karam

I saw Karam on DVD today. It is a gangster movie with a neat storyline. John plays the role of a sharp shooter. Priyanka is his wife who is a restaurant singer by profession. She knows that john is involved with gangsters.

John works for a mafia don named captain (played by bharat). Since I dont want to reveal the storyline, I would say that the story is engaging, with ample twists, and surprises. You would always feel curious about whats going to happen next.

John, Priyanka acted well. The villains were little more funny than actually required. Music is different from the traditional bollywood movies and was a welcome change. Another high point of the movie was its cinematography. There are several shots where you would want to see them again and again. There is a comic killing sequence which looks very similar to the kill bill sequence, but the copy is done well.

This movie is a must see - for its storyline, cinematography; and is a welcome change from the regular bollywood movies.
