The film starts with a flashback that lasts for over two hours. ACP Bose (Jagapati Babu) is a sincere police officer happily married and lives with his parents and younger brother Chandu (Gopichand). Chandu is a college student and he falls in love with his classmate Indu (Anushka). Enter the villain. He is Section Shankar (Yashpal Sharma) who is notorious for settlements and land deals. He kills anyone who comes in his way and does not leave any evidence or witness behind. He takes a loan of 100 crores from a private bank with the help of a conniving DGP and a politician. He kills the bank’s chairman in order to avoid repayment and puts the blame on Bose.
Bose tries to stop all of Section Shankar's plots. Chandu also gets into disputes with Section Shankar. Chandu has a friend named Saffi. Saffi is a smart person but Chandu doesn't know that Saffi is actually Section Shankar's younger brother. Saffi is very secretive and he has an interest in Indu. Saffi plotted many attempts to kill Chandu so that he can have Indu to himself. While this was happening, Bose kidnaps the bank's manager. Saffi's men stab Chandu but didn't kill him. Chandu is in a hospital and Saffi told Bose about it. Bose told his location and Section Shankar and DGP arrive and tried to kill Bose. They also kill the bank manager and blame Bose for it. While the criminals try to dispose of Bose's body, Chandu notices it and goes after them. In a riot, Bose's body is tossed into a burning bus. Chandu rescues the body and tries to rescue Bose himself. Bose had died by then. Chandu figures out that Saffi is involved in the murder. Chandu kills Saffi once figuring out that Section Shankar and the DGP are also involved.
Meanwhile, Bose's assistant police is passing on a story that Bose is alive and he is in another town. He said that Bose is looking for an opportunity to strike. Chandu then plans when to kill the DGP. The plan is successful and Chandu kills the DGP. In the meantime, Bose's wife gave birth to a son. The family is kidnapped and Section Shankar is then slain by Chandu. Chandu also revealed to the family that Bose is dead.
