An absolute headache of the top order, Mysamma IPS is the story of a police officer Mysamma (Mumaith) who is on a mission to chase and kill all the criminals in mufti and this starts with the killing of a group of rich guys by Mysamma as they are responsible for the rape and killing of a girl in a train who happens to be the daughter of a sincere police constable. Her style of punishment is known to her senior officer and he gives her full powers to go ahead with the killing spree as they are unable to do it in the guise of uniform. Her history goes back to her sister (Ranjitha) who is cheated by the wealthy and cruel man (Sayaji Shinde) and Mysamma is out to take revenge which she does. The love angle is by police constable Rama Swamy (ETV Prabhakar) who love Mysamma but does not have the spine to be shrewd like her.
