this movie is so well directed with superb acting and strong storyline.mumbhai meri jaan is a film based on 11th july 2006 bomb blast and its aftermath.there are 5 diiferent stories which gets affected by it.creative screanplay and beautiful script.
Mumbai meri jaan is a film well executed with a fine and elegant touch to each and every character present in the film. The main plot of the film is the 7/11 bomb blast and the various aftermaths experienced by our fellow characters. Lets start with Paresh Rawal. He plays a police constable who thru years of sevice in the force has managed to balance the corrupt side of force but deep within he knows that he has done nothing to improve the situation. But this hurts when his junior tries to handle the balance. Kay Kay takes up the role of an stubborn Hindu youth who believes that a normal Muslim is a Terrorist until he comes up face to face with reality. Thru mistakes he learns that not everyone is a Terrorist. Soha plays a ruthless journalist who cares for no one. She just wants sensational news with no respect for other's emotion until her would be husband dies in 7/11 bombing. then she see's the truth hows ruthless can media get make a Sensational story. Her own associates sell her tragedy as a cheap news item. She plays one character who is directly impacted by 7/11 incident. The other being Madhavan. Madhvan plays a regular successful guy who luvs to ply around the train. No dreams of settling in US, no willingness to own a car. But on 7/11 by a chance luck gave him. He enters a different compartment rather then the usual Ist class. The bomb explodes in the Ist class. Madhavan safe, but can he have the nerve to again take a train. Last but not the least Irrfan. He plays a Southie-coffeevala. He adds colours to a dull character. He has no connection with 7/11 bombing but he is a stress buster. He plays a poor guys who is insulted on every walks of life and we can't do anything but feel bad for him. kudos to Irrfan.........brilliant..........watch out especially for IRRFAN.......he rocks...
The film ends with a 2 min silence which was brilliantly executed.....in honour of our lost people........GOD BLESS THEM............
