The story begins with two trained thieves Azhagu (Daniel) and Sathya (nitin) who specialize in ATM robberies and other forms of thefts. They target the rich and with the money, they indulge in their own pleasures. However, their life takes a turn due to the neighbour Krishna who becomes a target of the police commissioner. Krishna holds a secret of the assassination of the Chief Minister and since then he is wanted. However, he gets killed in an encounter and before that he passes the secret to Azhagu and Sathya. With that, they become the targets. All this apart, Azhagu is in love with Kavyanjali (lakshmi) who is a dancer at the bar while Sathya is in love with Arthi (manjari) a college student. Also, there is Aadikesavan (ponvannan), an aspiring CM who is out to get the thief duo. How things take shape from here forms the rest of the story.
