Ishaan Trivedi's Radio (2009) was a short and bearable film. It was a complete package of love relationships and humour. Himesh has played his part decently and even Shehnaz looks extremely cute. Though many a times it sounded boring, it could maintain the interest of the viewers till the end. Paresh Rawal was seen in a guest appearance and his comic timing is worth acknowledging.
Undoubtedly Himesh looks far better in this flim compared to his earlier releases like Aap Ka Surroor (2007) and Karzzzz (2008). Himesh Reshammiya has given excellent music; songs like Jaaneman and Mann Ka Radio were too good. The presentation of the movie is great as it is divided into different chapters.
It is a story about RJ Vivan who is divorced. He is a successful RJ who runs a show on relationships and is known as a love guru who solves relationship issues. But later he is unable to handle his job properly as he himself is depressed about his love life. He meets a girl, Shanaya (Shenaz Treasurywala), who falls in love with him.
But after discovering that Vivan still loves his ex-wife Pooja (Sonal Sehgal), she tries to bring the couple together. Shanaya is always with Vivan therefore Pooja starts suspecting the two. Finally Vivan realizes that he loves Shanaya and proposes to her.
There are many humorous scenes in the film-one in which Vivan, Pooja, and Shanaya are in the restaurant and they breaking the plates, and Vivan’s meeting with Shanaya’s family.
Though the movie is good and quite entertaining, there are various scenes where you will find lack of clarity.
Vivan who keeps telling that he'll never love anyone else after a divorce later proposes to Shanaya which was weird. But the actor and singer has shown his immense talent in this movie and has successfully proved himself.
You can surely go and watch this movie; it will change your perception of Himesh. |
