the movie starts off with a terrorist incident in which a bus is looted and ppl killed, mumbai crime branch is investigating it and acp ajay singh rathore (aamir khan) is heading the team... he is shown as a very tough and no-nonsense cop... as he follows the leads he finds that its not a straightforward one, cross border terrorism angle is involved... the movie is pretty realistic and moves at a steady speed... the movie switches between action happening in mumbai, rajasthan, pakistan and its exciting... in flashback we get to see circumstances which made aamir to be very tough and out to catch criminals... sonali bendre played the love interest of aamir and its one of movies for sonali which did pretty well and people liked her a lot ("dont mind" :-)... naseeruddin shah plays an important role in the overall movie... overall the movie is very well made, does not lose the pace and story is exciting always... it openly pointed out pakistan for cross border terrorism and incidentally kargil happend around the same the movie released... excellent performances by aamir, naseer, mukesh rishi, sonali... movie is must watch...
