Siddharth Mathur (Sharman Joshi), a shy but charming young scientist, travels to Mauritius for his elder brother Harshvardhan’s (Sanjay Suri) wedding. Accompanying him is his overbearing mother Mother Gayatri (Shabana Azmi) and his jovial father Navin (Boman Irani), whose sole entertainment is pulling his wife’s leg.

Soon Siddharth and Harsh’s fiancée, Aaliyah (Chitrangada Singh), find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other. They try their best to douse these feelings. But they keep coming back with renewed vigour. Soon, all hell breaks loose in the Mathur family…
