OMG, where do I even begin?
Well, maybe the obvious first: Kunal isn't just a pretty face, he's also an amazing actor. I cried every time he cried. And that's saying something, cuz I haven't cried @ the movies since the notebook!

THe story line... beautiful story. So involved, so emotional, real... Although it may seem like a deja vu, it absolutely isn't. It's so much more than your average, dead person replacement story!!! I started out just wanting to see this because I saw that Kunal was in it, and after my first encounter with him in Traffic light, I've been a huge fan. Though, I wasn't sure what the movie was going to be like, I was pleasantly surprised! I loved it. I loved it. I loved it!!!

THe soundtrack.... I'm online getting ready to buy it right now! So touching and beautiful!

Overall, it's just a must see movie. Just is.

Rarely does a film from which there were no prior expectations comes & hits u in such a way . Superstar is 1 such movie . I bought it because I felt that a movie dvd for 50 is quite cheap.  But ended up falling for its charm . much of the credit should go to the excellent & novel execution of rohit jugraj & the brilliance of the most underrated & deserving young performer in Kunal Khemu . the film is a simple tale of ability  of a person to choose between ambition & relationship , what do u choose ? the story of two look alikes – a richie rich  & a struggler whose path cross & dreams clash .  what happens next .                    

                 Jugraj is technically brilliant director & he infuses all his brilliance in making each & every shot look superb . But unlike his previous films this time he has a story to tell . the film does have its deficiencies - he does add his share of formula in this one especially in the last portions , the supporting characters are  the ones we have seen in so many films earlier. But what works is the relationship of the two look-alikes & the twist in the tale .he is aided by brilliant technical team right from cinematography  (superb for a low budget film) to editing (crisp) to choreography( novel) .

        Finally in Kunal Khemu hindi cinema has a ready-made star only if the media is free from the so called young stars who cant even act if they have to carry a film on their own shoulders . Kunal does just that in Superstar & comes out In flying colours . hope the media smells coffee & wake up to this dynamite of a talent .  watch this movie to underearth 2 new talents for hindi cinema – Rohit Jugraj & Kunal Khemu .
