Yuvvraaj

Yuvvraaj, one of the most awaited movies of 2008 has finally released and the wait is finally over. Yuvvraaj undoubtedly has a mega star cast. It stars (Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, Zayed Khan, Mithun Chakraboty, Boman Irani, Katrina Kaif and more). Not only the cast but the person seated on the director's seat makes the movie special, very special. The movie is directed by none other than Subash Ghai. So, does Yuvvraaj work??? Well, Yuvvraaj does work but not as much as previous Subash Ji's movies worked. Its a great movie but its not a total Subash Ji's material. Anil Kapoor did a fabulous job with his autistic role. Hats off for Salman. Salman has improved a lot and has finally succeeded in performing a role he didn't attempt for like years. Zayed Khan was okay. But the show stealer was Anil Kapoor. The synopsis is that Anil-Salman-Zayed are three brothers who play deadly games with each other in order to inherit their dad's wealth. But Mithun and Katrina try to bring them closer rather than seperating them. When writing a review how can we even forget A.R.Rehman. A.R.Rehman has done a brilliant job with Yuvvraaj. His music has taken Yuvvraaj to a step further. Hats off to Rehman Sir... On whole, it's a great emotional drama. However, it's not like previous Subash Ghai's movies. So if you watch Yuvvraaj don't expect it to be Total Subash's Material. (3 on 5)
