Veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao was all praise for the recently released low-budget film Swamy Ra Ra. The film starring Nikhil and Swati, directed by Sudheer Verma became a major sensation at the box office owing to the way in which the story was presented.
Release of Iddarammayilatho postponed by a week
Allu Arjun’s stylish flick Iddarammayilatho, directed by Puri Jagannath will be released on May 31 instead of the earlier announced date May 24. The delay is because the post-production of the film is taking more time than expected. Producer Bandla Ganesh announced that the film will be sent to the Censor’s Board on May 24.
Ambarish, Umashree part of the newly formed Cabinet
Actors turned politicians Ambarish and Umashree have been included in the new Cabinet formed by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. While Ambarish is the Minister for Housing, Umashree has been given the responsibility of Women and Child Empowerment.
