OMG, where do I even begin?
Well, maybe the obvious first: Kunal isn't just a pretty face, he's also an amazing actor. I cried every time he cried. And that's saying something, cuz I haven't cried @ the movies since the notebook!

THe story line... beautiful story. So involved, so emotional, real... Although it may seem like a deja vu, it absolutely isn't. It's so much more than your average, dead person replacement story!!! I started out just wanting to see this because I saw that Kunal was in it, and after my first encounter with him in Traffic light, I've been a huge fan. Though, I wasn't sure what the movie was going to be like, I was pleasantly surprised! I loved it. I loved it. I loved it!!!

THe soundtrack.... I'm online getting ready to buy it right now! So touching and beautiful!

Overall, it's just a must see movie. Just is.

Sick! in a kinda creepy good way.

It's the movie about a guy who gets kidnapped and kept in a cell for no apparent reason for 14 years. "One day, he is suddenly set free and has four days to find out why he was imprisoned and why he was kept alive. So begins his quest for answers and revenge."

Almost the whole first part was abt his life in the cell. I mean after 2, 3 scenes we get it, he's miserable, move on... It was kinda boring until the plot actually developped.

John's so fine in this movie as usual (only reason I even got the movie was because of him).

I hated the ending. How did the girl, know her dad was still alive? how did she get his phone number?

It's a really fun movie to watch if like me you like psycho-oriented scripts :)
It's really the story of a guy who tries to take revenge for the destruction of his family. The man responsible for the death of his father and sister, his mother being crazed and has stolen all their fortune turns out to be the father of two women he intends to use for his plan. He unfortunatly ends up falling to the second daughter after killing her sister. This almost messes up his plans.

SRK looked seriously scary as a bad guy in this movie.
He played it so well, I almost (ALMOST) didn't like him.
And Oh my gosh when he lost his contact and his father in law was looking for him? Jeez, I felt everything his character felt at that moment. 

It had some really funny moments with the servant who did...(read more)n't know his place and kept forgetting everything essential. Like when he was asked abt the phone call? oh my gosh I thought my heart would stop, but I couldn't stop from cracking up at his silly-ness! LOL

it had some really sad moments w/ Kajol crying for her dead sister or when she found out the truth abt SRK's character.

BTW those two make an amazing pair!

I really liked the movie. Even though it looked a bit old at first. SRK's GrEAT and so is KAJOL. oh so is everybody else in the movie. I'd recommend it to everyone :)

Okay first of all, I've got to say that the first part was really interesting and had some seriously funny moments.

I love the whole comic book effect, made me think of Sin City (which I loved).

Z.K. had blue hair, which makes him look hotter! (completely irrelevant I know, but I just had to put it out there! LOL)

But the second part was really confusing. I was left with tons of questions and no desire to re-watch the movie to find the answers.

Why were they blaming each other for the marked bills?
why didn't Doc get his cop wife to tell him more abt their plans the way she did when they were already in trouble?
How come they weren't caught?
And who the heaven was that girl w/ Z.K. (Lucky) in the plane?
And BIGGEST QUESTION OF THEM ALL: WHY OH WHY did Lucky feel the need to tell the whole story to a complete stranger that for all intent and purposes could've been a cop???

Also Sunil Shetty's fans, plz don't get mad but I think, his acting skills are really not all that great, sorry to say but he makes stories go really slow!

Z.K. needs to find better movies to act in, cuz he's above that (though I'd watch any movie he's in no matter how crappy! LOL).

The women did an awsome job and so did Ritesh. The acting overall was great the story just fell short.

The last song was pretty cool :)

Oh my Gosh!! what a great movie. But so so sad!!
Not your typical love storie.
Kajol and Aamir are amazing actors, it just shows.
Gosh I want to watch it over and over even though I'll cry through it again and again.
The soundtrack is beautiful and fun.
Can't get enough of the songs, I listen to them so much that my nephew who's almost 2 knows the tunes and even tries to sing to "Chanda Chamke"!!

Never been so happy to own a movie :) 

How do I even begin to talk about this movie?

wow... If anybody ever and I mean even for a split second ever doubted Rani's acting talent, watch this movie and you'll see how great, amazing wonderful she is.

Amitabh is well, Amitabh Bacchan the great.

Wow! Black is touching, it's beautiful, it's sad but mostly it's eye-opening.
Realise how petty my "problems" are compared to others.

"Never give up" has never been expressed better. It's gotta be one of the best movies I've seen. The story line, the acting, the feelings, the score...

It's all there. All you could ever want in a movie. GO SEE IT!!

Not your typical Bollywood story. Like Preity and Saif said, you actually see intimacy (well sort of) and couple's living together b4 marriage... It's funny and very today's society oriented. I really liked it. It's also and mostly a beautiful romant...(read more)ic movie.

I hadn't watched much of Saif's movies, but after this, I sure am going to make sure that I do. He's a really great actor and goes all the way with his acting. You can really connect with his character.

My other favorite character was the indian who was trying to be australian. I've never laughed so hard in my life. my sis is not a big bollywood movies fan but even she was craking up at it.

LOL. my sis and I role play this part. And we crack up every time. I do the guys' voice and she plays the girlfriend who says "Sorry?" LOL hilarious!

Beautiful fight scenes, Preity is so good at acting bratty! and makes it so cute! 

Great movie. And the soundtrack's pretty cool too! I love the remix of Salaam Namaste :) can't get enough of it! 

The movie was really interesting. In that it makes you see how weird people can be. 
Vikram, the main actor went and picked up a girl out of nowhere because of how beautifully she sang and decided she was to be his heir. But not only that, he wanted her to make HIM successful, to make HIM immortal. There you can already see how conceited the "genius" is.
Now Divya, the girl has always been in love with Vikram's music. So of course she's thrilled to find that he thinks she has enough talent to be accepted as his student against all odds. She falls in love with him through all the hardship and fun times they spent together. Her music as a result blooms wonderfully. And here comes trouble.
Vikram now experiences a dry spell, can't come up w/ new notes so he freaks out. Instead of telling the truth to his producers, he steals Divya's music. The student having surpassed the master, he goes crazy and can't handle it! WOW!!
It may seem a bit farfetched but people actually act like that. They get scared to be forgotten and replaced by someone they've "made" instead of being proud of what they've accomplished.  It's a really wonderful movie, with great acting. And the music? Oh my gosh, Divya's song? BEAUTIFUL! Can't wait to get it!  Go watch that movie, it's really cool. Maybe does not have very much action in it, but the mellow mood works for the story line and it's developed really nicely too.
I gotta say though I hated the ending. It's gotta be the romantic in me, who wanted Divya and Vikram to be together in the end. I kept thinking he'd show up for the concert and play with her. They play so well together! But instead he stayed away and listened through the radio. Which I supposed was his way of letting her shine. But still afterwards, they should have ended up together! No excuse. They belonged together.

Didn't know anything about cricket, but I certainly loved this movie. I watched over and over.
My first encounter w/ Aamir Khan. He's really amazing, and the story was wonderful. One of my all time favorite Bollywood movie :)

This is a beautiful story. It's so inspiring and touching!
I mean I knew Aamir Khan to take on roles that just touch your heart, but this movie was another revelation. He's truly an Amazing actor!
Also when I saw the image of Abhishek as one of the celebrities, I was so touched that he'd lend his support to a movie w/ such a great cause.

OH MY GOD! GREAT MOVIE!
I hadn't seen a movie of john's were he's a softer character, so I couldn't really appreciate his acting fully. But now... DAMN! he's so good. That song he sang for the girl? "Bebasi Dard Ka Aalam" I played in all night long....(read more) I loved it. The actors were fantastic, Rani was beautiful as usual and Amitabh wonderful. The message was very powerful. This all made for a great 2hr and 48mn. I cried, smiled, laughed. Great movie!
The subject for the movie was a great one, maybe it's been recycled over and over like people said, but I personally think that this was a pretty good success. So it really doesn't matter if it was made over or something.
I loved that movie.
