Prabhu Deva's directorial debut(Hindi) Wanted- Dead And Alive is a complete action flick, its the remake of Telugu film 'Pokiri' 2006.The movie has a good start but by the end it gets confusing as the incidents and base of the story are not explained properly. The story revolves around Salman Khan(Radhe) and Prakash Raj(Gani Bhai). The music and dance in the movie are quite refreshing. There is lot of violence and looked a lot like Salman's 2003 release Tere Naam.
It is the story of Radhe(Salman Khan) who works with the International Don Gani
Bhai(Prakash Raj). It's discovered later that Radhe is helping the police force to
catch Gani Bhai rather than helping the Don. Jhanvi (Ayesha Takia) comes in his life
and both fall in love with each other. Janvi is unable to accept him when she finds
out that he is a criminal.
Fearless Radhe passes on information to both the Police and Criminals. But his true
intentions are revealed only at the end of the movie. He loses his father (Vinod
Khanna), which makes him take revenge and he kills all the criminals.
It's a mixture of action, violence, romance, suspence and humour. But even after
having so much of masala, it was not up to the mark. The story line was very weak and
many incidents were left incomplete and unexplained. Prakash Raj played his part very
well and he has done complete justice to his role. The same goes for Salman Khan.
Humour created by actor Manoj Pahwa is worth mentioning and even Mahesh Manjrekar was pretty good.
If you love violence and Salman Khan then you should surely not miss it but if you
hate both of these then it's not a good idea going for this movie.
