The elder brother Ranvir is known to be very smart and aggressive while Rajeev is a constant alcoholic.

Sophia (Katrina Kaif) is Ranvir’s personal secretary and loves him. Ranvir is however ignorant of her feelings towards him.

Shaina (Bipasha Basu) is an Indian Model and shares a beautiful relationship with Ranvir. But fate has some other plans for her. She gets married to Rajeev and her world is shattered when she discovers that he is a chronic alcoholic.

Rajeev is still addicted to alcohol although he promised his elder brother that he would leave it after marriage.

In a moment of truth Ranvir and Shaina come close to each other and an affair begins. All hell is broken loose when Rajeev suspects his wife of double crossing.

A Murder is committed.

Enter Robert.D. Costa(Anil Kapoor), a detective who lives by his values. He is desperate to find out the truth and arrest the perpetrator. He is very clever and has a bizarre addiction to fruits. Mini (Sameera Reddy) is R.D’s personal assistant and is as dumb as sexy she is.

Thus the Race begins as the story unfolds in a series of unexpected twists and turns and a nail-biting climax which is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. With brilliantly executed action sequences and an intriguing storyline, Race is certainly a movie to watch out for.

Tashan - A huge dissapointment

Desperately seeking some scriptwriters for Yashraj Inc. After a string of flops  - Ta Ra Rum Pum, Aaja Nachle, Laaga Chunari Mein Daag and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom. Get ready for another plot dead that tries to score on presentation alone.Sadly there isnt even a zany, new age tashan to boast about here.More inportantly the film fails to capitalize on the Saif-Kareena chemistry completely and almost relegates Saif as a sidekick. But what saddens you the most is the gangster act by Anil Kapoor. As the english-loving bhai, hailing from small town Kanpur, He is absolutely unintelligible. Now that from an actor of his calibre is really heartbreaking.

So whats worth watching the film - Akshay Kumar as a small-time thug who dreams of becoming a sooter (shooter) and a zero-size Kareena in a fluorecsent bikini.Akshay creates a tashan that actually works. His job is simple. He must find the two fugitives, Saif and Kareena who have walked away with Anil Kapoor's Moolah. And he does it with a pizzazz that makes the film work in bits and pieces.Thats it! After that it's all Khallas! All the con men and thair crook acts fail to create a jagged edge. This one can be viewed whipped up by a manic akshay. In other words you can survive watching the film if you are a true akshay fan!
