Hey you  all the FILMY FANATICS……….Yeah yeah I know you were waiting for this……….but aal the good things come after the waiting….so…here it is….the much awaited movie….KISMAT KONNECTION….( I don’t know what’s up with the “K”…I think yeh log to paanchvi paas se bhi bhi gaye guzre hai….hahhahhah)…….So here is the review you all were waiting for……I hope I wont let you down…..

KIsmat Konnection…..(with the “k”..;)…in two words can be described as “ Loose Connection”.. ( my spelling is Vokay so I wont make that mistake….ahahahahhahaah)…if you wanna know why?.........raed the following Paragraph…..

STORY  :        Well the Story part is like a ………..am I missing something?.........it is not confusing but it is DAMN PREDICTIBLE…….i mean you can predict the end of the movie right in the Fourth Scene… yar move on …..we have seen it..we have heard it a million times……the same old ,over boy with ambitions…the same old Mixed up in not going anywhere relationship Girl…they meet up..the ambitions get in  the way….boy gives up on the ambitions and the Surpried man comes to the rescue….we know it yaar…….so 1 Str to the Story…….sorry but that is all I can give……Sorry Rahilia….you blew up this time….

Direction  :  Well now this is where it gets reasly tricky…coz…when you know what os gonna happen next….you seem to  believe everything that is happening…so Aziz Mirza did a marvellous job in keeping the predictibel thisn redictible enough…..hahahahaa….it was really good in but he could have got something more out of Shahid and  Vidya……anyways..3 stars for Direction……

Cast Performance :  I know I know…all  you Girls out there are waiting for Shahid’s  Performance Report…..He did a marvellous Job  In  the movie…… well  in fact only he and in some parts of the movie Vidya did also well….but honestly I think they both were not upto the potential….…..did the show for the Mirzas….otherwise no one else realy was impressive enough….

Om Puri was good…others were just good to fill in give some rest  to Shahid  and Vidya. So over all.3 stars to  Cast… What the hell was Shahruk was doing in the begginnig?............i mean are you still trying to make a HIT Out of this movie?....hahahah

Music :. Hmmm.Aye Paapi and Move your Body Now…. Were the two songs which caught the attenction…and the one by Atif…well  but over all…the music also lacks the touch of melody Pritam Showed in Jab We Met. ……. Hey Pritam is biggest copy cat you know?...........i will tell you some other time …….

Technicals : Well the Screen play was real;y pathetic…some of the scens were so long and and unwanted …..The Dilougues was for me the USP of the movie…..Sanjay Chel( remember Rangeela) did a early good job inn this deptt. All the other deptts. Were good….i also loved the Styling oF Shahid and Vidya.  Shabina Khan. Did a rely good  job… Good Job…

….. UD’s favourite Scene……….. it is when Vidya Tellls Shahid ths#at he broke her trust……well both of them really acted tremendous in that scene….but yaar I was laughing my a$$ off coz I know …they are gonna be joining the hands after two scenes….ahhahaahhaa

So……over all nothing Special in the movie…but al the Boys and girls who like to see those SRK type Slow paced Crying  and Smiling back movies will like it…..for me it was really a LOOSE CONNECTION.

UD…

ADA.....Music Review.....Rahman's Melody will once again move you away.....

Movie: Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na Compliment the user
Overall Rating

Welll sisnce there is not an addition to Ada in movies column of the site so uploading the music revew here under this movie as it is also a Rahman Movie.......

Hey you all the Filmy Fanatics……………By Popular requests and a huge Public Demand…………UD’s Back as always  BETTER THAN EVER  ….:D…..this time also with something you’ll remember for a long time………….Movie Reviews of SARKAR RAJ and  SHURYA and  MERE BAAP PAHELE AAP and Also Music Reviews of Janne tu ya Janne naa…………. And Ada by the all time greatest musician and the living legend……MR. A R Rahman…And this is not all…I am also offffering you with the preview  Second  Most Awaited movie of this year after Dashavtaram by Kamal Hasan……> DRONA… Starring Abhisheik And Priyanka…………… So are you ready to be rocked????????????????

Well………The Meastro of Music..the living legen..is back….A R Rahman is back again with the magic. As the tagline indicates “The musical journey of A R Rahman” continues with ADA. The experiment of Rahman with Rashid Ali. Sonu Nigam, Alka Yagnik, Chithra,Sukhwinder Singh, Udit Narayan makes a come back in Rahman’s team. Sunidhi Chauhan, Viviane Chaix, Chitra, Sukhwinder Singh, Naresh Iyer, Udit Narayan, Parul Mishra & Jayachandran gets a chance in the album as well.

Ada (Male Version) - The maestro makes the title song always a masterpiece. ADA starts off very well. Rashid Ali continues his magic with Rahman. We’ve never heard of him. Maybe a new guy who’s gotten a chance to sing for the great maestro. Rashid does a great job and will be in Rahman’s favorites for long. The song after seems to be a slow poison that I will have to get use to and I know I will like it once I do get used to it. The chorus seems to be catchy. There are compositions that Rahman makes will you will instantly fall in love with, then there many which you will have to get used to. But once you do then you realize how great his work is.

Hawa Sun Hawa - Alka Yagnik makes a come back to the team and seems to be a great return with this song. She doesn’t sound stale like she has in past few songs. Alka seems to be fresh and very young. This one is a lovely, soft, feel-good song that I can really relate to. Watch out for the flutes in the middlle, amazing work by A R Rahman. The song backed up by a strong lyrics. Just close your eyes and get swept away by this great composition.

Gum Sum - Labelled to be a Non ARR compositon by the critics. Its a kind of ordinary tunes and beats used in the song. The veterans Sonu and Alka are back with this song. Its an upbeat number with good lyrics and is also used to be a remix number, with Nokia teams up with Rahman. The weaker number from the lot of songs in this album.

Gulfisha - Sunidhi gets a break with the song. Sunidhi makes a shine with this song. Her presence in this song makes Sonu look like he isn’t even there. Beautifully sung. This composition broke the genre barriers. Rahman is all over in the place with this song. Hats off to Sunidhi for sounding so powerful.

Meherbaan - I have dedicated this song to someone special for me, So as should be everyone who have special in your mind. I guarantee you that this is the special gift you can ever give to your loved ones. Thanks to Rahman. Rahman behind the mic with his mezmerizing voice. The maestro takes us to heaven with this song. It is sure that the song has some magic in it. Thanks a lot to Jithin for notifying me about this song. I love Rahman’s range. Just absolutely adore his voice. This is probably the strongest song in this entire album. Rahman turns down the volume here when it comes to background score. from low pitch to hig h range all over in the song. Everything is smooth. And he let’s the lyrics and his voice do the work. If you hear this song you will feel its worth buying this album.

Tu Mera Hai - Classic Chitra starts this song off with her high notes. She’s an absolute delight to hear. I haven’t heard her for long since the starting notes of Rang de Basanti. So it was nice experience to listen to her again. This is practically her song and she carries it with Sukhwinder, a lending support. This is a great, dark, serious song that is very catchy as well. I didn’t need any time getting used to this track. I liked it from word go.

Hai Dard - Slow sad song of Udit Narayan. song backed up by deep lyrics. It’s not a song that I would repeat though. Its something I’d listen to once and forget.

Ada (Female Version) - Similar to the male version. This is the first time Rahman lets Parul Mishra sing. The voice we have never heard before. She does well and has a complete different voice. A voice that can suit situational tracks in my opinion. Overall, good song. Just got to get used to it like the male version.

Milo Wahan Wahan - the next great song in this album. Nice background music used, with the violins and strings as most effective part. This is a mature song with amazing lyrics. This song is more focussed on AR Rahman’s beats and tunes. Rahman is the most versatile and most impressive indian music director out there at the moment and if anyone have a question on this, just listen to this song. Alka is very good in her low notes. Male singer JayaChandran is pure and unique. It is the first time he is singing for an Hindi cinema and he does absolutely great. More hopes on this great singer. There is something about this voice that just stands out. Really I liked this song. A R Rahman ends the album with an impressive track.

Meherbaan and Milo Wahan Wahan stands out in this album. There are other songs like Ada, Hawa Sun Hawa and Tu Meri Hai which are good tracks. But it seems to be a slow poison. Later it will create an impact on every music lovers. Every reviewer must get puzzled on how to judge or rate. Keep listening to these tracks to really find out how good they are. There are some songs that you instantly praise and some that you are doubtful about. Nice soft, romantic, depressive, smooth, calm and chiller album here from Rahman. Not the best work ever from Rahman, but really a good stuff. Four stars.. out of Five Stars :)….

Yaar ..Rahman Saab aap ki Zindgi ka har ek pal ek link hai divinity ki taraf..hum to bas aap ke music ke qayal hai……Jeete Raho…..

A R Rahman…And this is not all…I am also offffering you with the preview  Second  Most Awaited movie of this year after Dashavtaram by Kamal Hasan……> DRONA… Starring Abhisheik And Priyanka…………… So are you ready to be rocked????????????????

Well……….This is a first ever attempt of mine on Chakpak I would say  of  Music Rview …Hope you would like it….as much as you liked Reading the Movie Reviews……….

Jane tu ya Jaane Naa……….Music tale….Composed by none aothr than the Greates of them all…A.R.Rahman….(Vanya..i fully agree withy you dear…He’s the best ever…)…….lemme give you the track listing first….

  • Kabhi Kabhi Aditi | Rashid Ali
  • Pappu Can’t Dance | Anupama , Benny Dayal, Blaaze , Tanvi, Darshana ,Satish Subramaniam , Aslam
  • Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hai | Runa
  • Nazrein Milaana , Nazrein Churaana | Anupama , Benny Dayal, Darshana, Tanvi , Satish Chakravarthy , Naresh Iyer , Swetha , Bhargavi
  • Tu Bole …. Main Boloon | A R Rahman
  • Kahin To | Rashid Ali , Vasundara Das
  • Jaane Tu Meri Kya Hai |Sukhwinder Singh………

…..First things first - when the best of the best of 2008 would be written down, the number 'Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi' would definitely find a mention. Crooned by newcomer Rashid Ali who is being introduced by Rahman on Bollywood musical arena, the song is beautiful from the word GO, the moment guitar strings mark the song's beginning. Rashid's voice is just perfect for an actor who is being launched in a youthful romantic entertainer and the singer utilizes the big platform to the fullest. While Abbas' lyrics go truly with contemporary times, it is a nice change to hear a Rahman composition in a truly mainstream cinema rather than the historical/period/issue based films for which he has been creating music for quite some time now….yaar yeh gaana to mein sun sun ke  abs are doston kop aka diya hai…hahhahahaha

In true Rahman style, he gets together a bunch of singers for the track 'Pappu Can't Dance'. Well, this is the track which is supposedly a spoof on Salman Khan's on and off screen image and has been making news in last few days. The song's beginning has a rhythm which has formed a part of the racy proceedings in the first teaser of Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa that had kick started the film's promotion a few weeks back…Just a song like Strawberry Aankhen from Sapnay……..

t's a new sound at the very beginning of 'Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hai (Aditi)' that hooks you on instantaneously. This very rhythm stays throughout this song which is crooned for the female character of the film, Aditi, by yet another relative newcomer Runa. If the song's haunting tune wasn't enough, the way Runa renders the track makes it one as the sad theme of the song conveys what the protagonist is going through. A number about a girl remembering the times gone by with the boy she loved, 'Jaane Tu' is composed in a style, which is similar to that of 'Zara Zara' [Rehnna Hai Terre Dil Mein] and hence can be expected to grow over a period of time.

Guitar is at play once again in the number 'Nazrein Milaana Nazrein Churaana'. The best song to arrive after 'Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi', 'Nazrein' deserves to be the next song in line for promotion. Packed with youthful energy, the number has a Rahman stamp all over it and goes in perfectly well with the film's campus mood. In fact just one hearing and you are sure to carry the number along for your next camp fire outing.

The album continues to become better with every passing song, especially so the moment the title song arrives. Surprisingly, instead of 'Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa', it is titled 'Tu Bole Main Boloon', which are the opening words of the song. Sung by Rahman himself, the song is a funny take on how this guy and the girl have two different perspectives to everything, even though at the end what they mean is just the same! A bona fide jazz number with soft drums, saxophone and other associated musical instruments in tow, 'Tu Bole' has an international feel to it in the way it's entire arrangements are done…Touch of His master creativity….Long Live Rahman Sahab…..

After a brilliant 'Kabhi Kabhi Aditi Zindagi', Rashid Ali returns with 'Kahin To Hogi Ho' where he has Vasundara Das for company. Yet another beautiful number which carries an Indi-pop feel to it, this love song has such a serene feel to it that one can't help playing the number on a repeat mode. This is a kind of a soft romantic number that you wish to preserve in your iPod and play it your loved one at the first given opportunity. A brilliant number which makes it two out of two for Rashid Ali!..True Rahman Song……..After a long time great to see Rahman Sahab with such melodious and soulful music……Chak de pahttte……

The soundtrack here is unlike a conventional Bollywood score and instead introduces a style, which goes with the contemporary youthful setting. Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa is an album, which deserves to be bought this season. With Jannat being the only album which is registering good sales and no other album from past or present matching it's performance on the stands, Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Naa by A.R. Rahman comes as welcome relief…….

4 and a Half Stars for me on this Music………..Great work Rahmans Sahab……..

UD….
