Iddarammayilatho to release on May 10

Allu Arjun and director Puri Jagannath’s film Iddarammayilatho is getting ready for summer release and the makers have announced that the film will hit the screens on May 10. Marking the birthday of hero Bunny, the posters and stills of the film were released today in Hyderabad.

Sirish's strange request!

Allu Sirish is the younger brother of popular Telugu actor Allu Arjun and wants to make a mark in tinsel town. 

The young actor has a strange request. He doesn't want his surname (Allu) put ahead of his name. 

Sirish pointed out that father (Allu Aravind) opted for the surname as there were many producers with the same name while his brother chose to have the surname as there was another popular star of the same name.

Even as Allu Arjun’s latest film Iddarammayilatho is under shoots in Spain and other European locations, there is news that the young hero has signed up for yet another film that will go on to floors this year. The new film is with director Harish Shankar, of Gabbar Singh fame. 

Presently Bunny is busy with Puri’s Iddarammayilatho. Both the director Puri Jagannath and hero Allu Arjun are hopeful of repeating the magic of Deshamuduru, the earlier super hit film of this combination.

Yevadu first look on March 27

Ram Charan’s latest Telugu flick Yevadu is under production. The film’s first look will be launched on March 27, which also happens to be the hero’s birthday. The action thriller is directed by Vamsi Paidipalli and produced by Dil Raju, while Shruti Haasan is the lead lady opposite Ram Charan.

Allu Arjun seems to have decided to do films back-to-back. While his film with Puri is under progress, he has already said ok to Surender Reddy for his next film. The director has completed the pre-production work and is waiting to wind up his present project to start the shoots of this film which is likely to go on floors from April. The film is likely to be titled Race Gurram.

Puri’s third attempt at Bollywood

Puri Jagannath has always had a fascination to follow the footsteps of his mentor Ram Gopal Varma and land in Bollywood. He had two tries at Bollywood, though his second attempt was an average run, he is yet to make an impact on Hindi film scene. Now it is said he has been offered to do a film by the producer NR Pachisia, who produced Son of Sardar
