Allu Arjun, the stylish star of Tollywood, who won millions of hearts with his recent blockbuster Julayi, has added an incredible count of 5,00,000+ fans on his Facebook fan page - a count much more than any other Tollywood star has ever had.
Ram Charan Teja recently vented out his anger and frustration at the media cooking up stories about him and his family.
“During the audio launch of Racha, Babai (Pawan Kalyan) couldn’t make it. Media started commenting that our relationships are not in good terms and that the family is broken. Why do you (media) make such comments without knowing the truth? There might be some genuine reasons for not attending,” asked the young actor while speaking at the audio launch of his upcoming flick Naayak.
Megastar Chiranjeevi’s nephew and actor-producer Naga Babu’s son, Varun Tej will soon make his debut in Tollywood. Varun Tej will be the eighth hero from the family.
Varun will be making his debut as a hero in producer Ashwini Dutt’s film. Earlier, his cousins Allu Arjun and Ram Charan Teja had made their debut with the same production house.
According to sources, Varun is currently undergoing training in acting and martial arts in Mumbai. The film will go on floors next year.
Allu Arjun’s recently launched Surender Reddy film has been titled Race Gurram. The shooting for the film, which is long over-due, would commence soon. Bunny had signed on the dotted lines a long time back, but the makers could not go forward with the filming, because Arjun was dissatisfied with the script. Now the buzz is that the story provided by the Vakkavantham Vamsi has impressed him and he has allotted the dates for the film.
It looks like Puri Jagannath’s search for a heroine opposite Allu Arjun in their upcoming movie is not yet over. It was reported earlier that Tapasee has been approached for the role, but now, it is said that she too has declined the offer. Catherine Theresa, who is making her Tollywood debut with Krishna Vamsi’s Paisa, is the next one being considered.
Allu Arjun and Puri Jagannath’s much hyped project, Iddarammayilatho seems to be a non-starter. With the heroine troubles the film has been facing ever since it was announced, we wonder if the project will ever see the light of the studio floor.
It has come as quite a surprise that Puri has been unable to find a heroine opposite Allu Arjun, despite the Telugu film industry being famous for patronizing glamour girls.
