Nine out of ten times, it’s been an unwritten rule in Kollywood that films starring big and leading heroes are invariably released on festival days or days of national importance such as Republic Day or Independence Day.  The trick is to mainly cash in on the holiday crowd and sustain the momentum generated in the initial days.
