Superstar Rajinikanth, who is busy shooting for his Kochadaiyaan, took time out to watch Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh.
Gabbar Singh is the Telugu remake of the Bollywood super-hit film Dabangg which starred Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Sources say, Gabbar Singh has been breaking many box-office records and has collected a whopping sum of 52 crores in its first 10 days of screening.
Shruti Haasan, who made her debut in Hindi with Luck, didn’t seem to have a lot of it as far as her career was concerned. But the recently released Gabbar Singh has changed all that, the film has become a mega-hit making it the first in Shruti’s Career.
In what seems to be a strategic next step, the pretty lass has decided to make her abode in Mumbai, though she has been getting a lot of offers down south. The actress has rented a posh apartment in Bandra, the Queen of the suburbs.
In a record of sorts, Devi Sri Prasad is working for nine films simultaneously. “I am presently busy with seven Telugu movies and two Kollywood flicks,” said the hot and happening music composer of south India.
He added, “In Kollywood, I am scoring music for Suriya's Singam 2 and Karthi Sivakumar starrer Alex Pandian. Both the projects have offered me enough scope to come out with nice songs.”
Pawan Kalyan who is soaking in the success of his latest release Gabbar Singh will start work on his next with director Puri Jagannath from June 15.
The last time the two worked together was for Puri’s debut film Badhri, which released a decade ago and was a Mass hit.
Riding high on the success of Gabbar Singh, producer Ganesh Babu is planning to hold a major event in Hyderabad soon, to commemorate the huge box office success of this latest film. Ganesh Babu is on cloud nine and seems to be a very happy man. Informing about the upcoming Gabbar Singh celebrations event, he told the date for the event would be announced in a few days.
