Sundar C's brief flirtation with acting saw him do a handful of films with mixed results. He returned to direction with Kalakalappu, a film typical of his earlier ones - a romantic-comedy with a lot of colour and entertainment. And the result was a victorious comeback .He is now ready with two more projects, waiting to hit the screens.

Hansika supports Chennai Turns Pink
Hansika Motwani, who is known for her philanthropy, has recently volunteered to support an initiative to spread awareness about breast cancer among urban women.
The initiative is being taken up by the West Cancer Research Foundation (WCRF) and it will be called 'Chennai Turns Pink.'
The campaign is to be launched soon and she appeared to be pretty excited about being involved in the campaign.

TVSK team going places
The cast and crew of Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru (TVSK) are going places, literally. The team is in Japan now, to shoot some songs in the island nation.
The actors including Siddharth, Hansika, Ganesh Venkataraman and Santhanam are in the country as the director Sundar C gets ready for a schedule, which may take the shooting work close to an end.

Sundar C's laugh-riot Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru (TVSK) has shaped up rather quickly. Even as there is talk that the movie may be released sometime in May, the lead pair Siddharth and Hansika have headed for Japan on Monday to shoot for the two songs that remain to be canned.
A majority of the film has been shot in Kumbakonam, Hyderabad and Chennai.
