Salman Khan to remake three more Telugu films

Salman Khan, ever since his film Wanted (remake of Pokkiri) became a superhit, has been quite keen on remaking movies from the south. The latest buzz is that he and his family have acquired the rights of three Telugu movies.

Sohail Khan, Salman’s brother has bought the remake rights of Jr. NTR’s superhit Brindavanam, while his sister Alvira has bought the rights of Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu. Arbaaz Khan is also in talks with the producers of Ravi Teja’s Kick.

Prabhu Deva to direct Salman again

Prabhu Deva, who turned director a few years ago, has delivered hit films like Pokkiri, Villu and Engeyum Kaadhal in Tamil.

The actor-choreographer teamed up with Salman Khan in his Hindi debut to deliver one of the biggest blockbusters of 2008, Wanted.

Recently, there were reports doing the rounds that the hit duo might reunite again for a south film remake, which will be produced by Tips Company.

Pawan Kalyan eyes Ek Tha Tiger

After the success of Gabbar Singh, the remake of Salman Khan's Dabangg, Power Star Pawan Kalyan seems to have developed a belief that remakes will help him achieve success at the box office.

He is presently in talks with the producers of Ek Tha Tiger, the new Salman Khan film that is yet to be released.

Even before the film making any impact, Pawan has decided to go ahead and get the rights for the remake. It remains to be seen whether this new venture will repeat the huge success of Gabbar Singh or not.

Relief for producers?

To say that film producers are a harried lot would be an understatement. There seems to be some relief if one goes by what the Film and Television Producers Guild of India has decided.

Reports have it that the Film and Television Producers Guild of India has decided that all actors will have to pay their staff from their own pocket.

It has to be noted that till now, producers had to bear the additional expenses of an actor's personal make-up staff, driver, hair stylist, personal trainers, etc.

Asin ready for item songs
