After Akon, Rihanna for Simbu?
Simbu seems to be seems to be having the time of his life. He recently worked with the famed international singer Akon, for an album.
He collaborated with the celebrated R&B star for his 'Love Anthem'. Akon is also doing a 'kuthu' during the song.
Added to this, there is now buzz about Simbu being joined by singing sensation Rihanna for the song, which is composed by the actor himself.
However, whether she will actually feature in the album will depend on her schedule and other factors.

Back Bench Student to release on March 15
Back Bench Student is director Madhura Sridhar’s new attempt to make a “decent” romantic entertainer. The film has been made with new comers and has finished all formalities and is being planned for March 15 release worldwide.
Produced by Dr MVK Reddy under Shirdi Sai Combines banner, the film is being released by Multi Dimensions. The film is being aimed at the youth, with major being songs by “Kolaveri di…” fame Anirudh and Tamil super star Simbu. These songs were the major attraction at the recently held audio function.

Jr NTR’s Badshah is desperately trying to be in news for one thing or the other. The latest news is that Simbu has sung a song in the film.
Music director Thaman made an interesting announcement that Simbu has sung one song in the film Badshah. The peppy song is called “Diamond Girl…”.

Vetrimaran’s next with Dhanush, not Simbu
Vetrimaran was slated to do a film with Simbu some time ago. However, that project never took off and was put on hold due to several reasons.
Meanwhile, the Aadukalam director is gearing up to start a new film with Dhanush. The award-winning director has clarified that the reason the proposed movie with Simbu had to be shelved was because the actor was busy with multiple things and that they couldn't work out dates.
