There has been a lot of hype about Gautham Vasudev Menon’s next project with Suriya in the lead.
The film has been titled Dhruva Natchathiram and the logo has been unveiled.
The launch of the logo was organized to coincide with the audio launch of Thanga Meengal being produced by Gautham's Photon Kathaas, in Chennai on Tuesday.
Director Gautham Menon has carved a niche for himself in the Tamil film industry and Tollywood too, while he has made a foray into Bollywood too.
Now, he is keen to try his luck in the Malayalam film industry.
If sources are to be believed, the Khaaka Khaaka and Neethane En Ponvasantham-fame director has narrated a script to Malayalam superstar Mammooty and is expecting to get a positive response from him and get things started.
The death of media baron Sivanthi Adityan, managing director of the popular Tamil daily Dina Thanthi and a noted sports administrator, has been condoled by the political leaders, film personalities and the sports world.
Meanwhile, Superstar Rajinikanth led the tinsel town in paying homage to the departed media mogul at his residence while Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa condoled the death of Adityan, who is survived by a wife, a son and daughter.
Director Hari of Singam-fame, who is making a sequel for the same with Suriya, will be working with Suriya's brother Karthi after he is done with this project.
Presently, Karthi is busy shooting for Briyani and All in all Alaghu Raja. Sources say that he will work with Hari after he is done with these two projects.
The director is apparently choosing the cast and crew and will announce the project soon.
Suriya is busy with Singam 2 and is pretty confident about the prospects of the movie directed by Hari. The actor said this was one of the better roles in his career, and also the best film in the action genre.
He is said to be pleased with the manner in which the movie has shaped up and is hopeful that the movie would click with the audiences just as Singam did some years ago.
