Vijay to join Jilla shoot later

Actor Vijay's next title is Jilla and the shoot is likely to commence in from May 13 in Madurai. 

According to sources, Vijay is expected to join the team only in the first week of June. 

Sources said the film's heroine Kajal Aggarwal and ace Malayalam actor Mohanlal among others would be part of the schedule, which is expected to go on till the end of the month. 

Cameraman replaced for Vijay’s Jilla

Actor Vijay is gearing up for his next project Jilla after wrapping up Thalaivaa. The film directed by Nesan will have Kajal Agarwal as the heroine.

Meanwhile, according to sources, cinematographer Natraj has been replaced with R Ganesh.

Vijay to begin work on Jilla soon

Vijay's Thalaivaa has progressed rather quickly. It is learnt that the film's Australian schedule, which was touted to be closing stages of the production work, has come to an end.

It is said that Vijay is back home and will soon get down to work (read begin shooting) on his next project Jilla, directed by debutant Nesan.

The shoot is likely to begin in the middle of May and the schedule may take place in Madurai, Pollachi and its surrounding areas.

Vijay's Thalaivaa on fast track

Actor Vijay's Thalaivaa directed by A L Vijay has made good progress.

The team was in Australia for a long time, shooting for what is supposed to be the final schedule.

It is said that they had completed the work and are happy with the way things have shaped up so far.

Sources have it that Vijay will be back in Chennai on Thursday and will start work on Jilla after a brief break and rest.

One more for Vijay's Jilla

Vijay's next venture Jilla is making news even before its making. The latest is that actor Gautam Kurup who won praise for his role as villain in Thuppakki will be part of the Nesan-directed venture.

It is said that Vijay will begin shooting for Jilla soon along with Kajal Aggarwal, while Mahat Raghavendra will don the role of Vijay's brother.

Vijay to remake Baadshah?

Actor Vijay is busy with the shoot of Thalaivaa and will get down to work on Nesan's Jilla pretty soon.

Meanwhile, there is speculation that he would be doing a remake of Junior NTR's recent release Baadshah, which is said to be doing well since its release last week.

The little birdie has it that PVP Cinemas has bought the Tamil remake rights of the Telugu flick and Vijay may take up the role donned by Junior NTR.

Amala tries her hand at gambling

Amala Paul who is currently busy shooting for Vijay-starrer Thalaivaa in Australia, is game for a game, as they say. 

Sources have it that the actress took time off from the shoot to gamble at a casino in Sydney along with fellow actor Suresh. Also, she appeared to have enjoyed gambling and also won some money. 

Amala, who is pairing up with Vijay for the first time, has apparently said that Suresh was her lucky charm. 

Vijay to remake Badshah?

Even as Badshah has released to packed houses in Andhra Pradesh, the film is already hitting the headlines for remake rights. 

It is believed that Vijay is keen on the Tamil remake of the film and is very much interested in it. The present offer is 3 crores and this is definitely a huge price for remake rights and a record of sorts. Vijay is said to have accepted for the amount. 

Meanwhile, producers from Bollywood too have expressed their interest in taking the remake rights of the film.
